Layla Obi is an up and coming neo-soul artist from London. Moving to Hackney from Nigeria when she was just 7 years old, Layla struggled to come to terms with her alien surroundings and began using music as a source of relief. Since then, Layla has continued to use her music as a means of escapism. Her music acts as a reflection of herself as she often uses it as a medium to comment on her social and political views. The bold and unapologetic presentation of her ideas at such a young age is what has taken the industry by storm and has lead to great success for her debut single 'Blue Lights'.

"This Ep means so much to me because i feel that it really reflects who i am as a person. I found inspiration in my surroundings and pulled on my own experiences to create something that really spoke to people you know. No fakery, no egos, just me, my thoughts and good music"
